Bought this for my sister's birthday because she is a jewelry nut but had all of her necklaces hanging on picture frame hooks on a wall. She absolutely loves this and it holds all her necklaces (which is a TON) and her bracelets, rings and earrings. She also likes that it is a little shelf on top so that is where she keeps her keys and wallet.
